butterflys? flutters?...

I have heard it being described tons of different ways from moms over the past few weeks...but last night...i finally got to feel it for myself!!!!! I (officially) felt the baby move last night! I say officially because over the past few weeks there have been moments of "ummm was that it??", but it would be one little feeling, then i would not feel anything again for days...well last night while jake and i were relaxing, in this yucky winter storm, switching back and forth between "24" and "the bachelor", i felt it once, then again, then again, I felt constant movement for probably 20 minutes!! IT WAS INCREDIBLE! And REALLY weird!! It was not what i was expecting, it did not feel like flutters...for me it felt more like popping popcorn or a really off beat, un-rhythmic beating pulse. Anyway i have felt it again once or twice today, but i CAN NOT WAIT to feel that constant movement again from my litte tiny person!!

The pregnancy milestones just keep getting more fun from here! When I felt Isaac move the first time I was at school at school and I thought I had a muscle twitching in my abdomen, then I realized that I hadn't dared to work those muscles in weeks! Soon your whole belly will move with your baby, you'll feel sweet little hiccups, and you'll be able to tell exactly where there is a little butt or foot poking you. Enjoy it. I only have a few more days to feel mine from the inside and I will miss it.

Awww! Just wait till your able to rest your remote control or phone on your belly, while laying on your back. It will wiggle and jiggle like crazy and is SO much fun to watch...knowing your baby is in there pushing at it making it shake.

Jacob played soccer- really well and works those guitar pedals like there is no tomorrow. And Heather is constantly figeting or jiggling her legs.....they did that when they were little "zygotes" too! That was 28 and 29 years ago, but honestly...it was just yesterday. I am 50, and STILL miss the physical feeling and the amazing wonder of those little souls from Heaven growing inside me. And how cool is it to see it happening to you, Christy?! We are so honored that God chose you and gave you to us. Jake- you are a blessed man! XO

Hi Christy! Isn't that a great feeling? It's only been a few months, but I miss it too. I swear I have "phantom" flutters still. Pretty soon, you'll notice that the baby has a schedule. Jager would get really nutso active at around 11pm every night--you could almost set your clock by it. :)
