26 weeks!!....

this little one is a MOVER!! the past week or so we have really been able to see the movements from the HUGE kicks coming from my belly!! he/she moves the most when i lay on my back, so when we wake up in the morning we have been spending the first few minutes (while trying to wake up) feeling and talking to this baby:) I have continued to crave a lot of sweets here lately....i have heard some boy/girl predictions because of that fact....but you have to remember up until about a month ago...anything sweet made me want to who knows!!

garden update...we are getting snow, ice and freezing temps coming in this afternoon...boooooo.....we have brought our herb pots into the garage and have covered the raised bed with some landscape fabric hopefully everything will survive!!!!

Birthday Part four....and no, im still not done :)

Since Thursday was full of work, family, garden, and yummy food. Jake and I's "birthday day" was started with sleeping in, then Jake took me to yoga...right after yoga we went to old school bagel, if you asked me about "craving"...a little turkey on an everything bagel from old school bagel cafe by our house...has been a constant pretty much since day even though this trip wasn't much different then most was YUMMY non the less!!!....

jake and i both were starting to complain about our we did it....we chopped it all off...i think between the two of us it was like 3lbs of hair ;)

i styled mine later to not look like a 12 year old...

Birthday Part three...

DINNER WITH MOMMY AND BROTHER!!!! the first 5 months of this pregnancy, i have had an adversion to sweet stuff...nothing sweet sounded good...well....that has changed...i am defiantly craving brownies, cupcakes, chocolate, fruit with whip cream and cheesecake the natural choice for dinner was cheesecake factory!! It was so fun seeing my brother, matt, he lives in Texas at the moment and i dont think i had seen him since Christmas!!!!

Birthday Part two...

So the birthday present from my dad that i mentioned in an earlier post....drum roll please.... A RAISED BED (GARDEN)....I told my dad (i think last fall) that i really wanted to have a garden with veggies and herbs, but i didn't know where to being the horticulturist he is...he got right on it :) he researched and built me a raised bed for my birthday!! He came to town yesterday (he lives over 3 hours, so this was a treat in of itself) finished putting the liner and such in and then we went shoppin' for what veggies we wanted....we got....tomato's, cherry tomato's, jalapenos, bell peppers, potato's, and lots of strawberries!!! YUMMY!! It was so fun and i CAN NOT WAIT until my veggies start growing!! WHO NEEDS THE FARMERS MARKET!! ok i will probablly still go...but not for tomato's, peppers, potato's or strawberries thats for sure!! ;) I will definately be adding lots of posts on the development of the garden so stay tuned!!

Birthday Part one....

My mommys birthday is 9 days before mine so last weekend started the birthday celebration with a combined birthday lunch with my grandparents in Stillwater! My grandma is so cute...she found a recipe for a "marti gras kings cake" in the newspaper and thought she wanted to try thats what she made for us for our birthday was so fun!! and really yummy!! and even though the baby is not here yet we took a 4 generation "before" photo with my grandma:)

our little love...

We had our ultrasound this morning....can i just say that i could have watched that screen all day long!!!! Its really neat how OU does go into this dim lit room with a big flat screen in front of you, so you can watch your baby on TV ;) It was pretty amazing! the baby is 1 pound 5 ounces and growing and developing beautifully. when she was showing us their little feet, its started grabing its feet and playing with its toes!! So CUTE!! She was very good about telling us when to close our eyes so that we could not see the gender, but there was one point that she "brushed" over the "area" and jake and i saw (for a very quick second)...but Jake thought he saw "boy" and i thought i saw "girl", still no idea!!

Wednesday, March 4, 2009 may address us as Rev. & Mrs....

HAHAHA doesn't that sound weird....well after two years of jake going through the ordination process, which involves, books, papers and interviews he is officially ordained in the Church of God. So next time you see him call him Reverend...hahahaha he will LOVE that ;)

welcome Elliotte Jane Foster...

for two of my most favorite years, i had the blessing to be apart of this lovely family...I was hired to watch Anaka(now 4 years old) when she was about 6 months old, 4 days a week, when i was in college...i never knew how special this family would become to me!! I was able to see Anaka grow and learn everyday and then was able to know Liesel(baby girl foster #2) since she was just a little zygote! Well baby girl foster #3 was born last on friday...little Elliotte Jane Foster...who looks just like Anaka!! I took the family photo off of Zach's (daddy foster) facebook page...but as you can tell from our photos from our visit to the hospital, elliotte was sticking her tongue out at me the whole time....SO CUTE :)

*yes that is Ali Meyer from channel 4 news....her real last name is foster :)
