our little love...

We had our ultrasound this morning....can i just say that i could have watched that screen all day long!!!! Its really neat how OU does it...you go into this dim lit room with a big flat screen in front of you, so you can watch your baby on TV ;) It was pretty amazing! the baby is 1 pound 5 ounces and growing and developing beautifully. when she was showing us their little feet, its started grabing its feet and playing with its toes!! So CUTE!! She was very good about telling us when to close our eyes so that we could not see the gender,but there was one point that she "brushed" over the "area" and jake and i saw (for a very quick second)...but Jake thought he saw "boy" and i thought i saw "girl"....hahaha...so, still no idea!!

yes...you may address us as Rev. & Mrs....

HAHAHA doesn't that sound weird....well after two years of jake going through the ordination process, which involves, books, papers and interviews he is officially ordained in the Church of God. So next time you see him call him Reverend...hahahaha he will LOVE that ;)

welcome Elliotte Jane Foster...

for two of my most favorite years, i had the blessing to be apart of this lovely family...I was hired to watch Anaka(now 4 years old) when she was about 6 months old, 4 days a week, when i was in college...i never knew how special this family would become to me!! I was able to see Anaka grow and learn everyday and then was able to know Liesel(baby girl foster #2) since she was just a little zygote! Well baby girl foster #3 was born last on friday...little Elliotte Jane Foster...who looks just like Anaka!! I took the family photo off of Zach's (daddy foster) facebook page...but as you can tell from our photos from our visit to the hospital, elliotte was sticking her tongue out at me the whole time....SO CUTE :)


*yes that is Ali Meyer from channel 4 news....her real last name is foster :)

WARNING: whining below...

i just need to vent a little....i have been feeling awful this whole week! It first started with some allergy attacks....sneezing, watery eyes, congested nose, and that "my head is going to explode" feeling....It has progressively gotten worse all week....but the kicker is...I have not slept in about 6 nights :( I cant sleep because i cant breath! I fall asleep about 10pm...then by 1pm i get up to go to the bathroom and i cant get back to sleep, so i end up in the living room watching tv or surfing the Internet until about 5am or 6am and then i usually fall asleep for one or two more hours...this has been my sleeping pattern for about a week now. Please pray for Jake, because of this yukky sleep pattern...i have been a total grouch!! I guess God is just preparing us for the sleepless nights ahead. Ohh but thats not all...also early this week, my left rib starting feeling really uncomfortable...at first i just contributed it to the fact that things are growing and moving inside me and room was just being made or something, but like my allergies, the pain started getting worse and worse and by Thursday i could hardly stand without being in a lot of pain. I had Dr. Tamatha give me an adjustment, but she said that it was a strained rib and that i just needed to give it a couple of days to heal. I have no idea what happened, the only think i can think of is that maybe i over did a yoga pose on Monday night, so I didnt go to my Friday class, but i probably could have, because it has not hurt all weekend!!! So thats good....anyway...thanks for letting me vent... Maybe now i wont be so grouchy ;)

are we even old enough to own a crib??

APPARENTLY SO!!!! ps.i promise if this little baby is a boy, i will take the pink blanket off...it just looked cute in the moment :)
